As a golfer, we understand drooling over the latest $599 driver but in reality, whether it is for your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend or co-worker, some great golf gifts can be found for under $50.
The Best Golf Gifts Under $50
Golf can be an expensive sport. Have you priced a driver, irons, or even a putter lately? My wife often asks me what I would like for a gift and it is almost always golf related. But I wouldn’t have her run out and get the latest golf rangefinder or even look at a Scotty Cameron. That is until we win the lottery. For us golfers though, we would be more than happy to have many of the gifts below. In fact, my wife has purchased a couple of these items for me. Apologies if one or more of these items tops $50 as prices do tend to fluctuate.
Build a Golf Library
How about a sit down with a good book? Reading makes for affordable golf gifts. Sometimes it is great to not so much concentrate on what to do to make your golf game better but instead to just dive into a book which ummm errr is a good fiction read and just so happens to be about golf. For that, I recommend Christo Garcia’s book, Jack Dagger.
Building a golf library is only what I recently decided to do but I’ve picked up on some good books. One such book shown below is Golf is Not a Game of Perfect by Dr. Bob Rotella. I’ll sneak in an added extra because Bob writes some great books. I have this book in my library – Putting Out of Your Mind.
Finally, here is another paperback that should be in everyone’s golf library. Get this book and if your budget might be $50, you will still have some money to spend. I’m talking about The Four Foundations of Golf. This book is an Amazon golf book best seller.
Get A Good Grip
I write about a golf training aid that I recently purchased that is helping to change the flight of my golf ball. That is the Links Golf Grip Trainer. Without getting into too much detail, this is a great gift and at a fabulous price for golfers who might be struggling with hitting a slice or hook. I’ve used this product and you can read more about it at the link above. If you are looking to buy this for someone and don’t know if they suffer from having a hook or slice, it is also a great product for helping to have your hands properly set on the golf club.
Golf Gifts for Women
Speaking about getting a good grip, a golf glove is worn by the majority of golfers. If your golfing friend is a right hander, buy a left handed glove. Vice versa. If your golfer is a lefty, then buy a right handed glove. This is the Finger Ten Golf Glove and can be purchased for both hands if you don’t want to guess whether your golfer is righty or lefty.
Every golfer needs a golf towel but I someone think this is more fitting for women. This company has several golf towels to choose from so whether you are a golf diva or otherwise, here a some golf gifts under $30 to choose from.
How About Golf Gift Sets?
If you are mixing and matching in trying to find the best golf gifts under $50, it might suit you well to look for a golf gift set. Nothing like getting tees, a ball marker, bottle opener,
Here is another golf gift set with plenty of accessories. You will get a divot tool, towel, golf ball alignment kit, cleaning brush, etc…. If you had a $50 budget you could pick this up as well as a nice golf book.
Daphne’s Headcovers
This is a company I really like if you are looking for headcovers for golf clubs. Below you will see a gopher but there are plenty of other cool looking Daphne’s Headcovers. Everything from a gopher, to eagle, black lab, husky, pirate, moose, etc…
Improve Your Putting Game
A while ago I reviewed another golf product which could benefit your putting. The Putt-A-Bout Indoor Putting Green can help with putting consistency, speed, and tempo. When on sale this makes for one of the best golf gifts under $50. Use it in the office or at home. Most of all just use it and get better at putting.
The Golf Balls Professionals Use
Alright. Not all professionals use the Titleist Pro V1 but if you catch enough golf on tv, it is said that nearly 40% of male golf professionals use this ball. Between the Pro V1 and Titleist Pro V1X, you are getting just about the best golf balls made. These golf balls barely make it into the list of the best golf gifts under $50, however the recipient will be one happy camper. Oh, some of us even crazy enough about these golf balls (I’m thrilled when I find one in the woods) that we may have made a DIY pumpkin for halloween this year.
Check out this 2023 series of Pro V1X.
Golf Gifts for Men
Whether it is the man in your life or the guy that works in the cubicle next to you, here are a couple of items that aren’t so much unisex but on or off the golf course they would come in handy. This golf polo would make for a great gift. Typically I pick up a couple of these polos to start the year.
Who couldn’t use some great looking golf socks? A perfect surprise for a birthday gift, Christmas, Father’s Day or just because.
Golf Trunk Organizer
This looks like a great golf gift that I would like to have in my golf cave or just to remove the excess items out of my golf bag. A golf trunk organizer can get your shoes, tees, golf balls, golf gloves, etc… out of the way.
Heading on a Golf Trip?
Is the golfer in your life heading on a trip? Well make sure their golf clubs get there safely. They will thank you for it. This is made by the same company that makes the golf trunk organizer above. This golf travel bag has wheels and works well for airline travel. Please note that while a discount may bring the price of this item down from time to time, prices may exceed $50 as this normally retails for $70.
Rain Rain Go Away
The day you don’t bring your golf umbrella is the day you will find it will rain. My friends gathered for our annual golf tournament and the skies were about to unleash an all day rain. The gentleman in the pro shop said it was going to be a light rain so we were more than welcome to play. Only some of my friends were lacking in any type of rain gear or an umbrella. A golf umbrella can be picked up at a nice price point.
Although not specifically made for golf, having this rain jacket and pants combination in your golf bag could help to keep you dry.
When on sale, this waterproof breathable rain suit should work well for women. Golf pants and jackets tend to be very expensive but you can oftentimes get by with a pant and jacket set made for other purposes.
Finally, I picked up this product just a little time ago. Relatively new to the market if you like the latest and greatest. And if you need to improve your putting the Devil Ball is made to do exactly that. It doesn’t work with tempo or distance but what it does do is to help guide you to hitting the ball with a straight face angle. Meaning, too many of us are hitting the ball at a slight angle to start off with and that in itself will not put the ball on a good path towards the hole.
I hope this gave a few ideas as to some of the best golf gifts under $50 which can all be purchased through Amazon. With the pricing of some of these products, you might be able to purchase more than one item. Somehow I don’t think the golfer in your life would complain.
